Hand & Wrist Pain Treatment Information

Hand and wrist pain can happen for many reasons, the most common of which are carpal tunnel syndrome, de Quervain’s tendinitis, arthritis, trigger finger (tenosynovitis), and fractures. Conservative treatment measures include rest, splinting, pain medications, anti-inflammatory cortisone shots, and physical therapy. Casting or splinting is often used for simple fractures, while surgery might be needed for more complex breaks in the bones of the hand and wrist. Osteoarthritis of the hand and wrist is a common cause of pain. This degenerative condition can happen with aging or after an injury. If conservative measures for arthritis do not provide pain relief, surgery may be recommended.

Regenerative Amniotic Injections: A Revolutionary New Treatment for Hand and Wrist Pain

Are you tired of living with pain? Have conservative measures failed to provide relief of hand pain? Is wrist pain keeping you from living independently and performing activities of daily living?

Living Well Balanced Integrative Medical Centers brings you an innovative new therapy that is being called a game changer in chronic pain management. This relatively new intervention provides hope to people who have resigned themselves to living with pain. Regenerative amniotic injections are tissue allografts that are obtained from a donor and transferred to a recipient. These human cell and tissue products (HCT/Ps) support the body’s natural healing environment in the recipient and aid in the repair and restoration of function.

What Do Regenerative Injections Contain? Where Do You Source Your Products?

The regenerative injections we use at Living Well Balanced are amniotic tissue allografts. They are obtained from healthy mothers at the time of elective C-sections. They consist of cord and placental tissues that are typically thrown away after childbirth, but are in fact packed with nutrients and growth factors. These tissues are collected from consenting donors and processed in an FDA-registered laboratory. They are then stored and transported at very low temperatures to maintain their viability and effectiveness.

The products we use come from Predictive Biotech, an industry leader in regenerative therapies. These products have been developed after years of rigorous research to identify the optimal source tissues that can support regeneration of damaged tissues in the recipient’s body. Predictive Biotech products are thoroughly tested and independently verified for purity and safety.

How Are Regenerative Therapies Better Than Traditional Pain Treatments?

Traditionally, arthritic hand and wrist pain is treated with pain medications or steroid shots. Pain pills simply mask the pain and do nothing to treat the cause. Moreover, painkillers for hand and wrist pain do not prevent further damage from occurring. Steroid shots are not effective in the long-term. In addition, they are associated with several potentially serious complications, including infection, tendon rupture, and thinning of the skin.

Regenerative injections, on the other hand, offer a more natural method of pain relief. They do not simply cover up the symptom of pain, rather they regenerate tissues and repair the damage that is causing the pain. The growth factors, structural proteins, cytokines, hyaluronic acid, collagen, and other substances in amniotic injections create the ideal healing environment in the body to fast track the recovery process.

I Have Severe Hand and/or Wrist Pain: Are Regenerative Amniotic Injections Right for Me?

Amniotic injections can benefit a number of conditions that cause hand and wrist pain, including carpal tunnel syndrome, tendinitis, trigger finger, and osteoarthritis. At Living Well Balanced Integrative Medical Center, we do not follow predetermined treatment plans. Each patient is different and we tailor our regenerative therapies to meet your unique needs.

Our team of highly trained and experienced therapists is led by Dr. Ankur Prakash, DC. We conduct a thorough intake evaluation to determine the underlying cause of the hand and/or wrist pain. The underlying philosophy of regenerative therapies is to aid the body in healing itself. Our treatments are designed to repair and regenerate damaged tissues, thereby addressing the cause of pain rather than simply treating the symptom. If you have questions or would like to see if you are a suitable candidate for regenerative amniotic injections for hand and wrist pain, talk to us today at 919-926-8890 to schedule a consultation.
